Over in Lj-land the question of the day yesterday was:
"From Dr. Polidori's Lord Ruthven to Stephenie Meyer's Edward Cullen, the annals of vampire lore are filled with attractive, charming bloodsuckers. Which one would you most want to be bitten by?"
The most common answers were Angel/Spike from Buffy, Lestat and Edward Cullen. Obvious answers with the occaisonal Jean Claude from Anita Blake thrown in. Honestly, where is the Grand Daddy of all fanged fun men? Dracula himself! I especially loved Gary Oldman's tortured emo lusting after his poor dead wife. Stoker's version was a little more subdued but the gist was the same. He wants fanny fun with Mina and he gets it cause he is the Grand Daddy Vampire. Forget the sparkly (no hair on balls) teenager from Twilight or the wangsty Lioncourt from Rice's novels. Don't even mention the vamp who turned a puppet in Whedonverse. Dracula is the original, the best and the only vampire worth being munched by.
In other news I now have flaming red hair. Attempt 1 had me matching my ginger kitten but attempt 2 worked a miracle. Been a busy week and I may or may not be coming down with something. As long as it aint Swine Flu!
Be wicked, Flisters.
